Nick Hodgson
Nick Hodgson

Nick is Head of Marketing and Sales for Smith & Williamson Investment Management. He joined in September 2008 and has over 25 years experience in the marketing and selling of investment products to retail and institutional clients both in the UK and overseas. Nick was previously a main board director at Framlington responsible for sales and marketing. Prior to that he was a director of Rothschild Asset Management, and also spent 10 years working for various asset management businesses owned by Dresdner Bank. Nick has a BA (Hons) in Economics from Lancaster University.

Toni Craig
Toni Craig

Toni Craig joined Smith & Williamson in April 2007. She spent time working for the Group Legal & Compliance Director and Chief Operating Officer before transferring internally in April 2009 to join the Marketing & Sales team for Smith & Williamson Investment Management as Assistant Marketing Manager. She became Marketing Manager in February 2011. Toni has a BA (Hons) degree in Ancient World Studies from University College London.

Georgia Savva
Georgia  Savva

Georgia joined Smith & Williamson in May 2011. She is Assistant Marketing Manager of the Marketing & Sales Team of Smith & Williamson Investment Management. Georgia was previously at Canada Life Ltd where she worked as a Marketing Consultant as part of the Marketing & Technical department of Wealth Management. Georgia has a BA (Hons) degree in Business Administration from London South Bank University and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Marketing.

Andrew Groves
Andrew Groves

Andrew joined Smith & Williamson at the start of June 2009 as Associate Director – Sales for Smith & Williamson Investment Management. Andrew has over 20 years experience in sales and marketing in the fund management business and has worked on both long-only and long/short funds. Prior to joining Smith & Williamson, Andrew was Director of Investment Advisory at Fortune Asset Management and previously worked at Rothschild Asset Management.

Martin Orrin
Martin Orrin

Martin joined Smith & Williamson in May 2010 as Associate Director – Sales for Smith & Williamson Investment Management. Martin has 26 years’ sales experience in the fund management industry, and was in a similar role at Threadneedle Investments for eight years up until 2009. He is responsible for sales in the South and South West of England, Wales, and also Northern Ireland.

Matthew Kemp
Matthew Kemp

Matthew joined Smith & Williamson in February 2010 as Associate Director – Sales for Smith & Williamson Investment Management. Matthew was previously at Standard Life Investments where he was an Investment Director responsible for relationships with Banks and Global Distributors. He has had experience promoting a variety of funds to key discretionary managers within London and the South East for Standard Life Investments as well AXA Investment Managers and Framlington. Matthew graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Sociology from Kingston University.

Julian Polnik
Julian Polnik

Julian joined Smith and Williamson Investment Management in November 2011 as Head of Broker Desk. He began his career in Financial Services in 1997 at Credit Lyonnais Rouse working in Commodity Derivatives before transferring to Laing and Cruickshank and managing Private Client portfolios. He has also worked at UBS Wealth Management before joining Close Asset Management in 2009 establishing their Discretionary Portfolio Management service for Independent Financial Advisers. Julian has a BA Honours degree in Politics and Social Psychology from Loughborough University and a Diploma in Management Studies from the University of Westminster. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

Emily Lyndon-Stanford
Emily Lyndon-Stanford

Emily joined Smith & Williamson in February 2010 as Broker Desk Assistant for the pooled funds range. She was previously at Penrose, a public relations agency specialising in financial services. Emily graduated from the University of Newcastle with a BA (Hons) in History of Art and Architecture.

Fiona Darlington
Fiona Darlington

Fiona joined Smith & Williamson in December 2000 initially in the Guildford office before transferring to the Private Client department in London in November 2007. She has over 20 years experience in Financial Services, working for both IFAs and product providers, in a variety of marketing and sales support roles. Fiona joined the Marketing & Sales team as Broker Desk Assistant in October 2011.
